HubSpot calls to Odoo migration now carry the outcome

HubSpot calls move into Odoo as Done Call entries in the chatter, and each note now reads "Outcome: Connected" from the HubSpot label, not an internal ID.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Shuttio now writes the outcome of each HubSpot call that has one into the Odoo chatter note. A call arrives as a Done entry on its contact, company or opportunity, typed with Odoo's Call activity type (or To-Do when your Odoo has no Call type), and its note includes a line such as "Outcome: Connected". You can tick calls in a HubSpot to Odoo migration and check the result in the free sample before you run the full migration.

What changed

HubSpot calls land in Odoo as Done entries of the Call type, or of the To-Do type when your Odoo has no Call type. The note carries the call's outcome when HubSpot has one.

HubSpot stores a call's outcome as an internal GUID, not as a word. Shuttio reads the label for that ID from your HubSpot account before it writes the calls, so the note says "Connected" or "No answer" instead of the ID.

Shuttio reads the labels on a best-effort basis. If the read fails, or an ID has no label, the note keeps the value exactly as HubSpot stored it. The call still moves.

A call with no outcome in HubSpot gets no outcome line. The note also carries the call's direction, its length and the call notes, and the entry carries the call's time.

How to use it

  1. Open the intake page and choose HubSpot as the source and Odoo as the destination.
  2. Connect both accounts on the Connect step. For Odoo you give the URL, database, login and API key. This guide covers the API connection only.
  3. On the Objects step, tick the contacts, companies and deals, and tick the calls. A call attaches to its deal, contact or company, in that order: the first one that migrated.
  4. Review the fields.
  5. Press "Start the free sample". Shuttio imports a sample of your records, and it includes the calls linked to the sampled records.
  6. Open one of those contacts, companies or opportunities in Odoo. Read the chatter. You should see a Done entry of the Call type with the outcome line.
  7. If the sample looks right, press "Run full migration". The price is shown before the run starts, and into Odoo it follows the record count band on the pricing page.

If the sample looks wrong, roll it back and change the earlier steps. Roll back deletes the records, notes, tasks, meetings and calls the migration created. A record that already existed in Odoo and was matched stays.

What it does not cover

  • Labels Shuttio cannot read. If HubSpot does not return a label for an outcome, the note shows the value HubSpot stored.
  • Other destinations. This guide describes Odoo. Into Attio, HubSpot calls land in Phone calls when the workspace has allowed activities, and as notes otherwise. Into Clarify they arrive as comments on the record.
  • Pairs Shuttio does not cover. Affinity to Odoo is not supported.

The support matrix lists what each pair carries.

FAQ

Where do I see the outcome in Odoo? Open the contact, company or opportunity the call belongs to and read its chatter. The call is a Done entry of the Call type, and the outcome is a line in its note.

Does the outcome show the HubSpot label or the ID? The label, such as "Connected", whenever Shuttio can read it from HubSpot. When it cannot, the note shows the value HubSpot stored, and the call still moves.

Do I need a paid run to test this? No. The sample of a HubSpot migration is free, and it includes calls linked to the sampled records. The price for a CRM migration into Odoo is shown before the full run starts. A CSV import into Odoo is free.

Does Shuttio use an AI model to write the calls? No. No AI model writes your data. The only AI step in a migration guesses the type of each CSV column. Connection credentials are encrypted and deleted 14 days after the run.
