Using Shuttio with HubSpot
Shuttio moves your HubSpot contacts, companies, deals, custom objects, activity and lists into Attio. This guide covers installing it, the permissions it asks for, running a migration and uninstalling.

What it does
Shuttio copies your HubSpot data into an Attio workspace. It reads your HubSpot account, mirrors the objects you tick into Attio, shows you every field to review, and starts every run with a free 50-record sample. It only reads from HubSpot: nothing in your HubSpot account is changed, moved or deleted. Shuttio is free.
Install and connect
- Press Install on the Shuttio listing, or start a migration and choose HubSpot as the source.
- If you don't have a Shuttio account, create one with Google or with an email and password. If you have one, sign in. Either way you come straight back.
- On the migration's Connect step, press Connect HubSpot.HubSpot shows the permissions Shuttio asks for. Choose the account and approve.
- Connect your Attio workspace on the same step. Each migration connects its own source and destination.
The access token is encrypted before it is stored and is never written to a log. It belongs to that one migration, and no other migration can use it.
Permissions Shuttio asks for
crm.objects.contacts.readRead contacts, and the notes, tasks and meetings attached to your records.crm.schemas.contacts.readRead your contact properties, so each one can be mapped to an Attio attribute.crm.objects.companies.readRead companies and their associations.crm.schemas.companies.readRead your company properties.crm.objects.deals.readRead deals and their associations.crm.schemas.deals.readRead your deal properties.crm.lists.readRead your lists and their members, so they can be recreated as Attio lists.crm.objects.custom.readOptional. Read custom objects, on Enterprise accounts that have them.crm.schemas.custom.readOptional. Read the properties of those custom objects.filesOptional. Read the files attached to your notes, emails, calls, meetings and tasks, so they can move with them.Every scope is read-only. Shuttio never creates, changes or deletes anything in your HubSpot account.
Run a migration
- Start a migration and choose HubSpot as the source.
- Tick the objects to move. People, companies and deals land in Attio's standard objects; every other object is mirrored 1:1 under its own name.
- Review the fields. See where each HubSpot field lands; keep or skip it, rename it, change its type. Nothing is written to Attio before this point.
- Check the free 50-record sample every run starts with, look at it in Attio, then run everything. Records already imported are updated, not duplicated.
- Read the results: counts per object, and every row that didn't make it with its reason and a suggested fix.
Cancelling or rolling back a migration deletes the Attio records, notes, tasks and meetings it created. The Attio guide covers the Attio side in full.
Remove access or uninstall
- In Shuttio: Shuttio revokes its access in HubSpot and deletes its stored token 14 days after the migration finishes.
- In HubSpot: go to Settings → Integrations → Connected apps, open Shuttio and choose Uninstall. This revokes Shuttio's access on HubSpot's side.
Removing access doesn't change your Attio or HubSpot data. To delete your Shuttio account and its migration history, email support@shuttio.com. See the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long.
