Fields

Step 5: review every field, rename it, change where it goes, and see what will be overwritten.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

The Fields step shows one tab per ticked object and one row per field. Nothing reaches your destination until you have seen this screen.

  • Tick or untick a field, and rename it.
  • Each row shows its target. "A match is updated, not duplicated" appears where the object has a field to match on.
  • For a CSV you also confirm or change each column's type. Shuttio guesses a type from the column name and a few values, and you can change every guess.
  • "All" and "Standard only" narrow the list (shown for sources that tell custom fields from standard ones).
  • "Refresh fields" reads the source and the destination again and keeps your choices (not for a CSV).
  • A Pipelines block sets how deal pipelines are laid out. Into Attio: a list per pipeline, or a stage field per pipeline. Into Clarify: one stage field, or a stage field per pipeline. Odoo gets a sales team per pipeline with no choice to make.
  • For HubSpot into Attio, "Import field history" replays each field's past values. It is slower.
  • For Odoo, the step also asks for a fallback owner and shows where each source field goes: an existing x_ field, or a new one. In an import package your own fields go into each record's internal note.

What the step warns about

When a field goes into an existing field in the destination, values on records Shuttio matches are overwritten, and Roll back does not restore them. The step says so beside the button and counts the fields concerned.

Shuttio saves the form on the server. "Continue" goes to Filters.
