Filters

A filter narrows one object. A record passes when any group holds, and a group holds when all of its conditions hold.

• A filter has up to 5 groups and 6 conditions per group.
• The operators depend on the field's type: text (is, is not, contains, starts with, is empty), number (equals, greater than, between), date (before, after, between, in the last N days), select (any of, none of) and checkbox (is true, is false).
• A relative date such as "in the last 30 days" is fixed when you save the filter, so the sample, the full run, Retry and the record counts all use the same cut-off.
• A link from a kept record to a record the filter left out is dropped without an error.

Filters do not change the price. The price counts everything in your source.

Starting from this step

This is the last step before the run. For a connected CRM the button is "Start the free sample · 5% of your companies, contacts or deals, 10 to 1,000 records, picked at random, with their linked records". For a CSV it is "Start import" with the row count, and the import runs in full.
