Source and Connect
Steps 1 and 2: pick where the data comes from and where it goes, then connect both ends.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Step 1: Source
You choose a source ("From") and a destination ("To"). The picker offers only the pairs Shuttio can run: pick a destination that cannot take your source, and the picker clears the other side and says why. The support matrix lists every pair.
Step 2: Connect
The Connect screen ("Connect both ends") shows the source and the destination side by side. You cannot continue until both are connected.
| System | How it connects |
|---|---|
| HubSpot, Pipedrive | OAuth. You approve the permissions in the CRM's own consent screen. |
| Affinity | An API key, checked against your tenant before it is saved. |
| Attio | OAuth. As a source it is read-only. An Attio API key is offered only as a marked fallback. |
| Clarify | Your workspace slug and a Personal API key. A workspace key is rejected. |
| Odoo | One of three ways: an API key, an import package that you load yourself, or the Shuttio app installed in your Odoo. |
| CSV | You upload the file on the intake page. The limit is 4 MB. Split a larger file and run more than one import. |
What Shuttio keeps
Each connection belongs to one migration. Shuttio deletes the token 14 days after the migration finishes (done, failed or cancelled) and revokes it where the provider allows. After that you reconnect to retry, roll back or import new records. See security and data retention.
If you reconnect a different Attio or Clarify workspace to a running migration, Shuttio refuses to resume, retry, run in full or roll back, because every id it holds belongs to the first workspace.
Permissions per CRM, with the reason for each: sources and destinations.
