A CSV file

What a CSV import reads, where it lands in Attio, Clarify, Odoo, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Breakcold, Twenty, and what it does not carry.

Upload the file. It imports in full, free, with no sample, and is deleted from our side when the import finishes or you roll back.

What Shuttio reads

The file you upload (limit 4 MB). Each column's type is guessed from its name and a few values, and you confirm or change every guess on the Fields step.
A company column can become linked company records as the rows import. Rows naming the same company converge on one record.
Into Attio, each row can be a note instead. Pick "Note on an existing record" on the Objects step. Shuttio reads the note text from a column named note, body, content or text; an optional title (title or subject) and date (date or created_at); and the record from email (a person), domain (a company), person_record_id, company_record_id or deal_record_id (an Attio record id). A row whose record is not found in Attio is skipped and listed on the Errors tab.
Shuttio keeps the structure, the mapping and the id map, never your rows. It deletes the file when the import finishes or you roll back.

Permissions

None. A CSV is an upload: Shuttio connects to nothing on the source side.

Known limits

Tasks and meetings: A record export has no activity data in it. Connect the CRM itself if you want those. A file of notes is the one exception.
Field history: A CSV is a snapshot; there is no past in it to import.
