What Shuttio reads from Vtiger, where it lands in Attio, Clarify, Odoo, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Breakcold, Twenty, which permissions it needs and why, and what does not move.

Your Vtiger address, your user name and your access key (My Preferences, Access Key), not a sign-in. Shuttio checks them before saving anything and deletes the key 14 days after the migration finishes. Vtiger Cloud and self-hosted Vtiger 7 and 8, over https.

What Shuttio reads and moves

The list below describes the move into Attio. Where Clarify or Odoo differ, the destination's own article says so.

Organizations and contacts: Organizations become companies and contacts become people, with their emails, phones, addresses, website and description. A contact is linked to its organization.
Leads: Leads become their own object, with status and source by name. A lead that was converted is not imported twice: it exists as the contact, organization and opportunity it became.
Opportunities and sales stages: Each opportunity becomes a deal in the Sales Stage it is in, in Vtiger's order. Closed Won and Closed Lost carry over as won and lost. Its organization and contact are linked.
Products and services: Products and services become one product catalogue with their code, price, category and description.
Tickets and projects: Tickets (Help Desk) and projects become objects of their own, linked to their organization or contact.
Custom fields: Fields you added (cf_*) keep their type. Picklists keep their options and multi-select fields stay multi-select.
Comments, tasks, events and calls: Comments on organizations, contacts and opportunities become notes; tasks become Attio tasks with their due date, completion and assignee; events become meetings and call events become calls.
Owners: A task's assignee is matched to an Attio member by email.
Emails: Sent emails and emails the mail converter received, with subject, sender, recipients, date and body, on the organization, contact or opportunity they are related to. Drafts are not read. They land in Attio as a Logged emails activity on their record, unticked by default because Attio's mailbox sync may already show the same mail.

Permissions and why

What	Why Shuttio needs it
Your Vtiger address	Vtiger Cloud (yourcompany.od2.vtiger.com and the other Vtiger Cloud addresses) or your own server. Shuttio accepts https addresses only, refuses addresses on a private network, and sends your credentials to that address and nowhere else.
Your user name and access key	Vtiger has no sign-in for this, so Shuttio takes the access key every user has. Shuttio checks it against your instance before it saves anything. Find it in Vtiger: your name at the top right, My Preferences, Access Key. You can reset it there when the move is done.

The key reads only what its user may see, so use a user who sees everything you want to move. Vtiger Cloud counts API calls per day by edition; Shuttio keeps to three requests at a time, backs off when Vtiger says it is limiting and pauses the run, to resume where it stopped, when the allowance is used up. The key is stored encrypted and deleted 14 days after the migration finishes.

Known limits

Request pace: Vtiger Cloud counts API calls per day by edition and publishes no per-second limit. Shuttio keeps to three requests at a time, backs off when Vtiger says it is limiting, and pauses the run, to resume where it stopped, when the waits run out.
Documents and attachments: Shuttio reads no documents or file attachments from Vtiger, the ones on emails included. They stay there.
Quotes, orders and invoices: Quotes, sales orders, purchase orders and invoices are not moved.
Ticket comments: A ticket's comments are carried only into Odoo Helpdesk, where they are notes on the ticket. Attio has no place for them yet.
Project tasks: A project's tasks are carried only into Odoo's Project app.
Activity that is not on an organization, contact or opportunity: A comment, task or event attached only to a lead, project or ticket has no migrated record to attach to and is not moved.
Records outside your reach: The API shows only what the user may see. Use a user who sees everything you want to move.
Emails: sent emails and emails the mail converter received move with subject, sender, recipients, date and body, on the organization, contact or opportunity they are related to. Drafts and emails related only to a lead, a ticket or a project are not moved. Documents and attachments are not read. Into Attio they land as a Logged emails activity, unticked by default because Attio's mailbox sync may already show them.
